The farm features a range of accommodations, including the spacious Farm House, which dates back to 1856 and can host up to 18 guests, perfect for large groups or family reunions. For a more intimate stay, guests can choose from the Whispering Waters and Clivia Cabins, both situated by the forest stream, or the quaint Yellowwood Cottage, a converted historical schoolhouse. The unique Gypsy Cabin, built around an old caravan, offers a cozy and rustic experience, while the Rose Cottage provides a private and romantic setting. Additionally, Mount Park offers well-equipped safari tents and beautiful camping spots for those who prefer to be closer to nature.

Mount Park Guest Farm is a haven for birdwatchers, with its diverse habitats of grasslands, indigenous forests, and wetlands attracting a wide variety of bird species. The farm’s location in the Dargle Valley makes it a prime spot for birding enthusiasts. Notable sightings include the White-starred Robin, Chorister Robin-Chat, Yellow-throated Woodland Warbler, Blue-mantled Crested Flycatcher, Olive Woodpecker, Bush Blackcap, Southern Double-collared Sunbird, Olive Thrush, Cape Robin-Chat, and Alpine Swift. A highlight for many birders is the chance to spot endangered Cape Vultures, as well as the highly sort after Bearded Vulture, which has been seen flying along the upper cliffs of the iNhlosane Mountain.

The combination of grassland, forest, and wetland habitats supports a rich array of species, making every birding excursion a rewarding experience.
