Cumberland is a Birder Friendly Establishment, and our aim is to provide birders and nature lovers with a safe and comfortable place to enjoy birding and hiking. The reserve is not open to day visitors, so our guests are able to make the most of the quiet and serene atmosphere. A range of habitats provide perfect opportunity for great sightings and beautiful, scenic photographs of not only our wide range of bird species, but other wildlife and landscapes. Due to the incredible diversity of habitats found on the reserve, it is home to over 280 bird species. Unrivalled service and a drive for guest satisfaction keeps Cumberland highly rated and recommended by guests who have stayed with us, and our reputation on TripAdvisor is testament to this.
