INFORMATION FOR BIRDERS
At Babanango game Reserve we have guides who are passionate about the birds of the area, and who are ready to welcome avid birders. Babanango Game Reserve recently hosted a second successful Bio Blitz - an intense biological survey carried out by a group of scientists, naturalists and volunteers to record all living species within a designated area over a continuous time period. The findings of this latest Bio Blitz revealed some good news for the reserve as the number of recorded bird species rose from 287 to 303, showing positive growth in the variety of birdlife found on Babanango.
